ASCEF is part of a network of Professorial Chairs in Family Business throughout Spain. It sponsors five of these in Catalonia: at the Universities of Barcelona, Girona, Lleida, Abat Oliba CEU and the International University of Catalonia. These Chairs bring universities closer to the reality of the Catalan business fabric. They also aim to foster and promote business creation and entrepreneurship as well as knowledge management.

Over 25 professors are involved in these Chairs (the first began in 1998) and 400 students have been taught so far.
