{"id":3687,"date":"2021-06-25T11:00:21","date_gmt":"2021-06-25T11:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ascef.com\/?p=3687"},"modified":"2021-06-29T14:23:32","modified_gmt":"2021-06-29T14:23:32","slug":"ascef-general-assembly-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ascef.com\/en\/ascef-general-assembly-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"ASCEF holds its General Assembly"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last Tuesday, June 22<sup>nd<\/sup>, the <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ascef.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Catalonian Association of Family Business (ASCEF)<\/strong><\/a><\/u>, held its <strong>General Assembly<\/strong> virtually attended by a wide representation of its associates.\u00a0 At this event, the 2020 accounts and the 2021 budget were approved, and a record of completed activities was presented.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ASCEF<\/strong> President, <strong>Amadeu Jori<\/strong>, spoke to the organization members about the pandemic which, he said, &#8220;<em>caused a deep, sudden and unexpected health, economic and social crisis that impacted us all with more or less severity<\/em>&#8220;. For Jori, <strong>many companies have been examples of a capacity for renewal, innovation, and transformation in their quest for competitiveness<\/strong>, a defining trait of the family business. In the face of the economic crisis, <strong>ASCEF<\/strong> President highlighted the importance of private-public collaboration and the need to convey these messages to public administrations.<\/p>\n<p>The Assembly ended with <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ascef.com\/en\/foncilla-ascef-assembly-transformation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>a lecture by Pablo Foncillas<\/strong><\/a><\/u>, business innovation educator and researcher, who spoke about consuming trends and digital transformation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last Tuesday, June 22nd, the Catalonian Association of Family Business (ASCEF), held its General Assembly virtually attended by a wide representation of its associates.\u00a0 At this event, the 2020 accounts and the 2021 budget were approved, and a record of completed activities was presented.
